The male sextet (singing group of six members for you sickOs), recognized on the show as the "nice Baptist church boys," left the judges - former Boyz II Men member Shawn Stockman, singer-songwriter Ben Folds and former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger - speechless at times with their performances on NBC's hit reality competition "The Sing-Off."After performing their final "Hold My Hand" rendition of Michael Jackson featuring Akon, "You all have a very specific message, and you have a deep love in life and I think the world is craving that right now," Sherzinger said between sniffles.
Stockman, who consistently praised the group throughout the competition and waxed nostalgic on his own soulful a Capella days, went a bit further: "You are the embodiment of why 'The Sing-Off' is the best TV vocal show on TV right now."
The group had never truly explored the pop music genre prior to competing on the show, but they showed the judges they were up to snuff from day one with their rendition of Maroon 5's "This Love" that had Stockman sprawled across the judges' table.
"Your voice is just butter!" he expressed to group lead vocalist Terry.
