Kamar Jorden Prepares for Minnesota Vikings Training Camp

Moments after the 2012 NFL draft concluded, Wide Receiver Kamar Jorden received a phone call from the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings offered the Philadelphia local a contract, and chance to play for their ball club.

Following a rookie camp, and mini camp, KJ is now beginning Training Camp for the upcoming NFL Season. Rookie hazing may be in his near future, but hopefully bright spots in the preseason are sure to follow.

Jorden has been catching the eyes of local reporters in the Minnesota area, and has made appearances in articles on the teams official web blog.

Some of you may remember previous posts over the last year or so about Philadelphia/Delaware County local football stand out Kamar Jorden. If not, KJ played 2 seasons at Hudson Valley Community College, where he earned a scholarship to play his final 2 seasons at Bowling Green State University.

Jorden stayed among the top receivers in the Nation while at BGSU. For weeks he lead the nation in receptions and yards as he rounded out a successful college football career.

Kevin Durant lead the team in scoring with 22 points. Kevin Love added 14, and Kobe dropped 10 to round out the team's top three scorers.

LeBron facilitated most of the attack as he racked up 8 assists to go along with his 9 points. Carmelo, Durant, and Tyson Chandler added 9 rebounds a piece.

France' scoring leaders were Ali Traore with 12, Tony Parker with 10, and Boris Diaw with 9.

Zoom Kobe VII "Gold Medal"

Sometimes small tweaks can make a major difference. That seems to be the stand Nike is taking with the Kobe 7 "gold medal" colorway. The "USA" colorway, which Kobe has been wearing in all the Team USA exhibition games, has added some minor changes to the version recently released.

The Swoosh has been changed to gold, and the heel cup has been changed to a Gold/Obsidian gradient design. Also the outsole is now red, instead of white.

This updated version is expected to be worn by the Black Mamba when (if) the USA team advances to the gold medal game. This shows major confidence in TEAM USA by Nike.
