Will, Jada & Jay-Z Collab For Movies

This combination is dangerous. I don't even think I understand how crazy this could get. Overbrook Entertainment, Will & Jada have teamed with Shawn Carter to produce major motion pictures, the first being the modern-day rendition of the 1982 classic "Annie," which is set to star RocNation signee, Willow Smith.

Although the project is still in its preliminary stages, it will be developed with Sony Pictures Entertainment and produced by Overbrook and Jay.

This partnership between Will and Jada and Jay-Z began when the POWER crew decided to invest in the hair and beauty line Carol's Daughter. Their next venture together was when they joined forces again to co-produce the Broadway play "Fela!" Of course in addition to Willow, who is managed by Overbrook Entertainment's own, Miguel Velendez

"The Overbrook Entertainment family and I have a unified vision. We've already produced a Tony Award-winning play and we're developing a true superstar in Willow," Jay noted. "This venture into film development and production is a perfect next step with teams that are accomplished, creative and innovative."

How crazy is this? Do stories like these motivate you like they motivate me? As if I require any more. SmH.

Sounds like a POWER MOVE in the making…

Chris Paul: Encouragement Promo

I've taken to Twitter multiple times to publicly note that I love these "I'm From The Future: Where Amazing Happens" commercials. The first one I saw was the Amare shoot around joint. I didn't understand it at first, but then I saw the Kevin Durant version and thought…"Oh, yeah. That's pretty damn dope." Steve Nash's was solid too.

Next you can expect Chris Paul to get his futuristic head's up. Check the commercial below on SCREAMATME.com before it officially airs later tonight...

NFL Commish Will Take Pay Cut Down to $1

National Football League commissioner, Roger Goodell, will cut his own salary down to $1 if there is a work interruption after the collective bargaining agreement expires in March.

Now Goodell, who makes about $10 million a year including bonuses, said in a memo to his staff Wednesday that chief negotiator Jeff Pash will do the same. Pash makes nearly $5 million a year.

To show this is no joke, Goodell has requested the league's compensation committee to delay any bonus payments to him until after a deal is reached with the NFL Players Association.

"Let me emphasize that we are fully committed to doing everything possible to reach a new collective bargaining agreement without any disruption to our business," Goodell said. "The entire senior leadership team stands with me in its commitment to resolving the CBA issues with the player's union."

"While several other executives have also volunteered to make additional reductions to their compensation, I have asked them not to take that step at this time as we continue our negotiating efforts."

Union chief DeMaurice Smith has predicted the owners will lock out the players after the March 4 expiration of the contract with the league.

NFLPA communications director Carl Francis was not impressed by Goodell's memo.

"I have been around long enough to know that this decision is irrelevant to the process," Francis said. "He should also guarantee there won't be a lockout."

Sheesh Francis. I thought that was a commendable act…I guess not.

We'll keep you posted on it.

$1,500 a day, to HOMELESS? See which American Gladiator can Relate

Remember the show from the early 90's called "American Gladiators?" Well if you do most likely you remember "Storm" also known as Debbie Clark. Storm made $1,500 a day during her run as an American Gladiator. She became a Gladiator in 1991. This was until she tore her ACL in 1993.

Well now Clark is homeless and has nothing to show for her moments of being in the celebrity spot light. After her career ending injury. After the injury Clark spent her money trying to better herself and to find a career. She is not the alcoholic, drug abusing story you may expect. She spent money pursuing a career as a Country music singer. She also went to culinary school and was a person trainer.

Clark also spent thousands on vitro-fertilization to have a child. This was a success and now Clark's son Crayton is 10 years old.

She has hopped back in forth from homeless shelters, and domestic violence shelters. But her knee injury makes it almost impossible to walk the streets during the day hours to find a job. She did odd jobs until her knee made it impossible to continue.

Clark has recently crossed paths with Sean Sheppard the CEO of an organization that helps the less fortunate. Hopefully he can help her get back on track. Sheppard is also trying to help her get in contact with her Gladiator Teammates from the past.

Response to 2011 State of the Union

As speeches go there were a lot of highlights of President Obama's 2011 State of the Union address but where does this leave the American people. Obama's vision of a better future for American children, workers and the economy sounds not only realistic but achievable. I give it to Obama he has the ability to hold any audience captive. Although missing were details about how his administration planned on tackling America's many growing problems. The president's ideas of compromise and a bi-partisan government appear to be less realistic to Republican and Tea Party political figures. If the new speaker of the house John Boener's reactions to many Obama points is shared by Republican leaders, we will be in constant debate with little or no real movement on America's issues. The president's SOTU address lays out the expectation of a government that less polarized and more towards working together. Really? How do you make adults behave civilly. The struggle to achieve this goal of unity has been difficult throughout the last two years and appears to be worsening. Within seconds of the SOTU ending there were various Republican and Tea Party politicians criticizing the president. Did they even have a chance to digest his words? This does not seem like the rhetoric of a party that's willing to compromise unless the type of compromise they want is one-sided. The president must realize that we are not in a political culture that's conducive to finding the middle ground. He must make the decision to stray away from the middle and be faithful to his goals regardless of opposition. He must show himself as a president who is willing to be stubborn and selfish in order to achieve his stated goals. Obama loses that edge for the thought of a bi-partisan government that doesn't exist yet. He must abandon this idea in order to make real change. President Obama is not just one man with one vote; he's the one man with the biggest vote. Its time to stop playing the great facilitator and start being the fearless leader.

Grand Piano found on Miami Sandbar???

Ok. Where do I start this ridiculous article?

The Miami Herald is trying to tell me that a mysterious piano just appeared on a Miami sandbar. Discovered this morning, the piano was strategically placed at the highest point of the island to avoid aggressive tides. Did I mention it has to weigh at least 650 to 700 pounds?

Wait it gets better...the piano will stay put.

"We are not responsible for removing such items,'' said Jorge Pino, a spokesman for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. "Even a car can become a habitat for wildlife. Unless the item becomes a navigational hazard, the Coast Guard would not get involved.''

Marine patrols of both the North Miami Police Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the same thing.

Who did this? I'm not sure to laugh or just shake my head... When I think about it though, it's pretty damn funny. Check the video courtesy of the Associated Press below...
