Beanie Sigel: "My Bad Jay..."

What's beef? Really?

Just over one year ago, Beanie Sigel decided he was going to lyrically attack former friend and mentor, Jay-Z. What one can do! More recently, Beans sat down with
XXL, he had this to say...

“What Mike Epps say? ‘Gangstas fuck up too, Whatever I felt this dude Jay did
wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an
opportunity. Dude gave me an opportunity. A lot of people don’t get
opportunities. He gave me that. That outweighs everything. I need that in black
and white. I got caught in the moment and put my feelings out there. I should
have never done that.”

Wow.

R.I.P. Jonas Bevacqua

Co-founder of Lifted Research Group, better known as LRG, was found dead earlier today in his Los Angeles apartment, Jonas Bevacqua was only 34 years of age.

There are no official details released about the clothing designer’s cause of death, Bevacqua reportedly died in his sleep according to various inside sources. The news spread like wild fire earlier today via various social networking websites, most notably, Twitter.

LRG has developed a very solid relationship with the hip-hop community over the past few years, with many iconic figures modeling their fashion in a series of ads. LRG is how I met the likes of a few artists! To name a few artist who've endorsed the line: Alchemist, Wale, Drake, and Cory Gunz and hip-hop MEGAstars such as Pete Rock, DJ Jazzy Jeff and De La Soul have rocked out with LRG wears in several big money advertisements.

LRG was also a fixture in the hip hop community via a number of company sponsored mixtapes. Rappers B.o.B, 9th Wonder artist Big Remo, crooner/rapper Outasight and Chicago duo Kidz In The Hall and more all had projects released in tandem with the clothing company and were also seen wearing LRG gear on the covers of the mixtapes.

Rest In Peace to Jonas Bevacqua. A young mogul in the making...

Sean Kingston Hospitalized After Accident

Sean Kingston was critically injured in Miami on Sunday afternoon. The “Dutty Love” singer was riding on a jet ski with a female companion around Star Island when he hit a bridge. Coast Guard member, Jonathan Rivera noticed Kingston and his friend in the water and saved them. Rivera stated that if he had not noticed the two in the water and pulled them out, they may have not survived the accident. Currently, Kingston is now in the intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Hopefully, he and his friend will make a full recovery.
