During a key 4th quarter stretch against the Grizzlies on Sunda, Kobe was benched for a little over a 4 minute period. The Lakers lost the game, which eventually lead to some questions from the media, and Laker fans as to why Coach Brown sat Kobe. Here is Kobe's response to the situation:

"It's his decision to make," Bryant told reporters after the game. "He makes the decision. He's the coach. If you guys are looking for a story, I'm not going to give you one. I can't sit here and criticize his decisions. In leading this ballclub, that's something I can't afford to do. I got to have his back. I've had his back the whole season; I can't start doing something crazy now. It wouldn't make no sense."

No. That was not a typo.

Last week, Steve Job's minions launched iOS 5.1. With the upgrade, Apple added some serious Yelp integration for every one's new favorite voice, Siri. The business information Yelp provides online has previously appeared in Siri's search results, displaying a basic rating. Once you made the decision to select the options Siri collected, your iPhone 4S would automatically launch its Google Maps feature, a la your GPS.

With iOS 5.1, you can expect to launch the business's profile page with an option to Map to the business, read reviews and ratings, hours of operation, etc. This helps making those tough decisions, a little bit easier.

I would go ahead and say that this is a pretty drastic difference. In regard to the more specific demographic...



These GOP - Grand Old Party - candidates (Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul) are being just that...OLD. If they would to stand a chance in this upcoming election, they would focus more on the "new." Tap into these various social networks. BREAKING: Peyton Manning to the Broncos, Denver To Trade Tim Tebow?!?!

The Denver Broncos. That, reportedly was Peyton Manning's decision.. And that, makes for BREAKING NEWS here on SCREAMATME.com.

CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman confirms that Manning's choice was narrowed down to the Mile High City and that a formal agreement at this point will be just that "a formality."

The Broncos will also attempt to trade rising quarterback, Tim Tebow and apparently "do not care" what they get in return.

Chris Mortensen first reported the news of Peyton to Denver, noting that Manning has told his agent Tom Condon to "open negotiations" with Denver.

Manning has, at this time, informed the other teams of his decision.

#UNC PG Kendall Marshall Suffers Broken Wrist

The Tar Heels defeated Creighton 87-73 to advance to the Sweet 16. In their winning efforts, they also suffered a loss. Starting PG Kendall Marshall suffered a fractured right wrist. His status for the remainder of the tournament is unknown. He is left handed so depending on the severity of the injury he may still be able to play. The injury was suffered in the second half of the game. Marshall finished the game with 18 points and 11 assists.

Coach Roy Williams stated that he will speak to medical staff, Marshall, and his parents about his status for the remainder of the tournament.

49ers Sign WR Mario Manningham

The 49ers continue to build up their receiving core. The 49ers and WR Mario Manningham agree to a two year deal. Wide Receiver was a position that the Niners needed help in, and adding a solid receiver like Manningham definitely helps. Mario, had a big catch down the stretch to help the Giants beat the 49ers in the NFC Championship game. Now he trades his Giants blue in for 49ers Red and Gold.

Mario Manningham spent his entire 4 year career in New York. During those 4 seasons he caught 160 passes, for 2,315 yards, and recorded 18 Touchdowns. His best season, he caught 60 passes for 944 yards.

The Niners added WR Randy Moss to begin the free agency signing period, and have now added Manningham. This gives them a variety of weapons to go along with tight end Vernon Davis, and running back Frank Gore. Not to mention, the 49ers have arguably the top defense in the NFL.

On Tuesday March 13, 2012 Bowling Green University held their annual "Pro Day." For those of you who aren't quite sure what this means...it is basically am opportunity for potential NFL prospects of the Bowling Green State Falcons to showcase their talent, in front of NFL scouts. Impressing the scouts can lead to personal workouts, which in turn can lead to being drafted. In retrospect, these workouts are probably one of the most important steps of any prospect's career.

The purpose of this post is to bring a spotlight to our bro, Kamar Jorden. As a wide receiver for the BGSU Falcon he has set numerous records throughout his collegiate career. Kamar did get some ESPN recognition this year, but not as much as some of the top programs, we all know and love. With that, this workout means a lot to him. His chance to show the NFL scouts some things that they may have missed on tape, or television. One of the biggest things for Jorden is running the 40-yard dash. His hands are strong, and consistent, he's proven that throughout his career, but his speed has been a question mark. Kamar did well on his 40 time, not what he wished, but definitely much better than he ran during the season, and better than what some may have expected. He's been working hard since the end of the season and will continue to do so.

Kamar got an offer to workout personally for the Philadelphia Eagles, April 2nd, before his Pro Day. Hopefully after this Pro Day, the phone calls will continue to roll in. Good Luck Bro!

Gov. Bobby Jindal and the New Orleans Hornets announced today an agreement in principle they say will keep the team in New Orleans through 2024, subject to the conclusion of the NBA's sale of the team to a new owner and legislative approval.

Now, this is how you end a mutheffin song! The Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers and the Denver Nuggets hook up to shake the league during the closing moments yesterday.

After signing Nene to a new deal shortly after the lockout ended, the Nuggets trade away their starting center, who was in the first year of a five-year, $67 million contract. The loss wipes Nene's 13.4 points and 7.4 boards off the plate and replaces it with the 11.9 points and 8.8 boards from McGee.

Young, who is putting up 16.6 points a game, brings a new scoring threat to the Clippers, who are still doing their best to make up for the loss of Chauncey Billups.

Derek Fisher came to the Lakers with Kobe Bryant back in 1996 and the two were teammates for five NBA championships. That's big shit. Fish hit some historical shots that pretty much contributed to the NBA history books forever.

All good things comes to an end sometimes. After the Lakeshow acquired Ramon Sessions, it was off with Fish. At 37 years old, Fisher had become a liability in a league with a wide variety of quick, young guards. And this is a business.

Captain Jack is a good player... He keeps getting dealt, but he brings an insane amount of energy and leadership to the floor and locker room. San Antonio is dangerous, yet again.

Jackson, already part of an earlier trade deadline deal between the Bucks and Warriors, reunites with the Spurs after a shortened and rocky stay with the Bucks. A Gregg Popovich favorite from his time with the 2003 NBA champion Spurs, Jackson provides San Antonio with another solid defender and scorer.

The Spurs part ways with Jefferson, whose time with the team fell way below expectations. Now he gets a fresh start in Golden State.

The Lakers have been in need of a solid, younger point guard for quite some time. By bringing in Ramon Sessions, who by the way is averaging 10.5 points and 5.2 assists on the season, off of the bench - and fully capable of starting, they may have found their answer. The deal to move Walton also frees up considerable cap space for the Lakers. Watch out for these guys.

This was the first move in a series of major shake ups today by the current 20 - 23 Portland Trailblazers!

Wallace is averaging 13.3 points and 6.6 rebounds on the years. He has become an intricate part of Nate McMillian's system in Portland. But I guess, when your plan is to get rid of Nate McMillian, that fact is irrelevant.

On paper, this seems like another plus for Brooklyn, as they look to occupy their new space with as much momentum as possible.

Okur, who has been relegated to just 17 games this season because of back injuries, is on an expiring contract and would help free up cap space for the Blazers. So, they're not necessarily "asleep in the bread aisle."

This move means a few things for the Grizzlies: 1. that 2009 draft was a complete bust for them, as they ship their final draft choice, Guard/Forward Sam Young to the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2009 they also drafted Center, Hasheem Thabeet (No. 2 overall) and DeMarre Carroll (No. 27 overall).

For the Sixers, the acquisition of Young, who is averaging 3.5 points in 11.4 minutes a game, adds another wing player to Philly's mix that currently includes Andre Iguodala, Evan Turner, Thaddeus Young and Jodie Meeks.

Wade Ejected From United Center?

Sources from the United Center stated that Dwyane Wade's father was ejected from the arena last night. He reportedly was warned to stop using profanity, and he continued to do so anyway.

This apparently violates the United Centers rules and regulations. The rules are as follows, "intends to provide all guests with a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment. Our family atmosphere prohibits foul or abusive language, and any violation of these policies may result in ejection."

Wade and the Miami Heat took a loss to the Chicago Bulls last night without the help of league MVP, and Bulls captain Derrick Rose.

NBA: The Bulls Interested in Pau Gasol

The Bulls seem to have come to grips with the fact that, it's unlikely they will snatch up Dwight Howard. So they have focused on Lakers' PF Pau Gasol.

The Lakers are not really interested in the players the Bulls have to offer. With that being said, Chicago will have to add in a third team in order to make a trade offer that would interest the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers are accepting offers for Gasol. So we will see what happens.

NBA TRADE: Monta Ellis Is Headed to the Bucks!

Monta Ellis has been in trade rumors since the end of last year. He is a great scorer and has been posting career numbers. He is easily one of the top shooting guards in the league, but is on the underachieving Warriors. It seems that Golden State went to get some size in this deal. They acquired Andrew Bogut, and Stephen Jackson in the deal. The Warrios gave up Kwame Brown, anf Elke Udoh, along with Ellis.

49ers Sign Randy Moss!!!

The 49ers and WR Randy Moss agree to a One year deal. This is a pretty big pick up for the Niners who received close to no production from the WR position in the NFC Championship. The 49ers lacked a deep threat, with Braylon Edwards and Josh Morgan being injured last season. Ted Ginn and Morgan are both free agents who the Niners would like to sign, but the Moss signing gives them some insurance.

Moss had only 28 receptions for 3 teams in 2010. But, the Saints and obviously the 49ers were very impressed with his workout. He is supposedly in excellent shape and has been training recently.

Alex Smith and the 49ers working out new contract. Smith wouldn't be able to workout at the facilities until Tuesdays, when league players can return. So who passed to Moss during his workout? Head Coach JIM HARBAUGH! (wearing khakis, and sweatshirt) The coach is an ex NFL QB, and was very impressed with Moss' workout.

Apparently TOMORROW is the big day. According to Mike Klis, of the Denver Post, premier NFL Quarterback, Peyton Manning could announce where he plans to spend the twilight of his career. According to various reports, Manning had a very "positive and productive" informal stopover with the Denver Broncos.
