Weekly Video Game Release 2/22/11
These are this week's releases
Bulletstorm on Xbox 360, and PS3
Killzone 3 on PS3
and deBlob 2 on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii
Overall this is a somewhat slow release week on games. All 3 games this week are worthy purchases, but me being the cheap person I am, I completely suggest you all wait for these to drop in price, which should be sometime during the summer.
Good Gaming Everyone
Broadway Bound: More #MeloTradeTalk!!!
So…
The Denver Nuggets are down to the wire on completing their highly publicized, and anticipated trade to send Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks! [Cue Spike Lee].
A league source reports this Yahoo! Sports.
The deal was not done, but an agreement could be reached as soon as Monday night, the anonymous source reported; Believing the two sides have proceeded too deep into negotiations to shy away from that Thursday 3 p.m. trade deadline!
The Knicks have apparently offered to send Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton, Wilson Chandler and the Knicks’ 2014 first-round draft pick to Denver.
The Knicks would also trade Anthony Randolph and Eddy Curry’s expiring contract to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who would send Corey Brewer to the Nuggets. The Knicks would receive Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Shelden Williams and Renaldo Balkman.
The Nuggets requested on Saturday that the Knicks also include center Timofey Mozgov in their trade package. Denver could then reroute some of the pieces in the trade – including Mozgov – to the New Jersey Nets for draft picks.
Are y'all confused yet? It's not that bad...
Nuggets president Josh Kroenke and general manager Masai Ujiri had preferred the Nets’ offer for Anthony, which was built around rookie forward Derrick Favors and four first-round draft picks, but Anthony has been unwilling to commit to signing a contract extension with the Nets. Way to make your presence felt.
Nuggets coach George Karl has pushed team officials to make the deal with the Knicks over a straight trade with the Nets because it would better position the Nuggets to contend for the playoffs this season, a source with knowledge of Denver’s plan reported earlier.
I know George Karl wants to get this headache Tylenol-ed already. The unofficial second half of the season tips off as soon as tomorrow…and the entire Denver Nuggets organization should just want to move forward. Let's enhance the NBA! LoL. Although, as a devout Sixers fan…I do not look forward to seeing Amere, Melo and company FOUR times a year.

On The Shoulders On Giants...
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s new documentary On the Shoulders of Giants is meant to be an educational introduction to the Harlem Rens, an all-black independent team that won over 2,500 games between 1922 and 1949. Count em.
This past Thursday, Mr. Abdul-Jabbar screened the doc in Los Angeles, in the presence of the likes of Bill Russell, James Worthy, Carmelo Anthony, Grammy-Award winning producer, Quincy Jones. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa introduced the film and Norm Nixon moderated the post view panel discussion.
Team SCREAMATME.com will undoubtedly keep you posted as to when this film will be available to the public. Stay logged in.

Inside The Deal: Eminem x Brisk
Chrysler is selling "Imported From Detroit" T-Shirts based on the popularity of the high profile Super Bowl XLV ad for the new Chrysler 200, which featured Mr. 8-Mile. #pause.
Each and every color way in each and every size of the shirt completely sold out, moments after going on sale.
Lipton's Brisk brand will not be left behind! After their successful spot with Eminem that also ran during Super Bowl XLV, they've decided to make a move themselves.
According to a statement, Brisk and Eminem are planning a new "groundbreaking" program that will empower consumers to experience engaging content from emerging artists. A Lipton representative reported the Brisk marketing program will utilize nontraditional distribution methods, in addition to creating a new series of offline events to promote the emerging talent.
Brisk reportedly offered Shady an opportunity to write his own Super Bowl spot and the opportunity to enter into a unique marketing relationship with Shady Records. This might be one for the books. "It was a great opportunity to do something creative and fun that we couldn't pass up. Who wouldn't want the chance to write their own Super Bowl spot?," said Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg.
More to come from this group...I'm sure.

Video: D. Wade & Kevin Hart Discuss AJ 2011
February 17th, at the Jordan Brand store inside Footaction in Culver City fans and walk-ins were given an exclusive question and answer session with Team Jordan;s own Dwyane Wade and Kevin Hart aka Agent H aka Chocolate Drop. The two gave a pretty thorough run down of the shoe and it’s modular soles. They make a good pairing and Jordan Brand hit the nail on the head. Kevin Hart (Agent H) is making a case for the new Spike Lee (Mars Blakmon) in my opinion. Only time will tell though. Check the interview below...

Collaboration For The Record Books?
When you consider fan bases in the entertainment industry...here are two names you must take seriously: Taylor Lautner and Michael Bay.
The "Twilight" co-star is set to collaborate with the "Transformers" director on a new, HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL film project.
Apparently, Bay and Lautner have pitched their movie to studios, and considering that their untitled project is being described as "Wanted" meets "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," it's a sure bet that the film will be big, loud and action-packed...needless to say a masculine film with an abstract, yet obvious appeal to the younger (and cougar) female demographic.
Here are the facts as we know them so far: Lautner is currently on a break from filming Breaking Dawn: Part 2, and the I Am Number Four executive producer, Bay, has a little bit of time to spare in his schedule, as Transformers 3's hits the post-production stage. Leaving the duo with enough time to pitch their project to studios, and given the enormous box office draw of both personalities, we have little doubt that their pitch will get snapped up quickly. Bidding war anyone?
Michael Bay is notorious for launching the careers of young stars into an otherwise unfamiliar orbit...see Shia Labeouf. It's not that Lautner isn't eating nowadays, but working with Bay would be a #POWERMOVE for the youngbol.
For those Fandago fans though, you already know Lautner has a lot coming up. Abduction for one and some involvement with movies like Stretch Armstrong and Cancun. And who knows when The Twilight Saga will ever end...
How do we really feel about this???

AND THE MVP GOES TO......
NONE OTHER THAN THE DYNAMICLY MOBILE KOBE BRYANT!!
2011 NBA All Star Game West 148, East 143 and with a game high of 37 points and 14 rebounds, Kobe Bryant won his fourth All-Star Game MVP award. Kobe has officially tied with Bob Pettit for the most career NBA All-Star Game MVP's.
It's fair to mention that LeBron James lead the East with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. He joins Michael Jordan as the only players in All-Star Game history to post a triple-double.
