Kick Game: Nike Air Foamposite One “Shooting Stars” PE [More Images]

Last week, we provided what was an All-Star recap of some jewels Penny let out the bag himself! Today, we revisit as more images leaked via NiceKicks.com.

This players edition pair features a white Foamposite upper, white stars over a black what seems to be nubuck outer trim and royal blue lining. The hottest part to me is the insole, where a Magic-inspired Penny tagging and mantra stamping lay on on the right shoe, while on the left, the phrase "Ballin Is What I Was Born To Do." The sole is highlighted by blue and white stars. Dope.

Breaking TMZ Report: Murder At Rick Ross' Home?!

Police wish to speak with William Leonard Roberts II otherwise known as rapper, Rick Ross. Apparently, a 40-year-old man was shot to death in front of his Miami Gardens home this morning ... TMZ has learned.

Local law enforcement reports Roberts was NOT home during the time of the unfortunate occurrence and at this point in the investigation, he's not considered a suspect.

At the current moment, investigators are not sure if the victim has any connection to Rozay, however Ricky is listed as the owner of the property. MMG has yet to comment.

Happy Sadie Hawkins Day!

Sadie Hawkins Day is real day, February 29th, when it is "socially acceptable" I guess for women to ask men out. Inspired by a fictional series of events in Al Capp's classic hillbilly comic strip, Li'l Abner (1934–1978) - pictured above.

In Li'l Abner, Sadie Hawkins was the daughter of one of Dogpatch's earliest settlers, Hekzebiah Hawkins. The "homeliest gal in all them hills", she grew frantic waiting for suitors to come a-courtin'. When she reached the age of 35, still a spinster, her father was even more frantic—about Sadie living at home for the rest of her life. In desperation, he called together all the unmarried men of Dogpatch and declared it "Sadie Hawkins Day". Specifically, a foot race was decreed, with Sadie in hot pursuit of the town's eligible bachelors—and matrimony as the consequence.

This is another excellent colorway of the Kobe Zoom VII. With the theme of animals i.e. the "Predator" pack, here is the Poison Dart pack, featuring the "Lakers" colorway.

The Shoe is inspired by...yup you guessed it, The infamous Poison Dart Frog. The upper, designed after the frog's unique skin patter, is a yellow, and purple swirl. The midsole and heel counter are purple. This is an easy must cop for me! What about you!

2012 NBA All-Star Game [Full Highlights + Game Recap]

The 2012 NBA All-Star weekend wrapped up last night with stellar performances from both sides. The final? 152-149, in an exciting "down-to-the-second," match up. Kevin Durant secured the MVP award, with an impressive 36-point and 7 rebound effort, Kobe Bryant made history, and LeBron James showed off a bit in the second half...even though I'm sure he'll get his fair share of criticism over the next few hours to weeks. Ha! Check the highlights AFTER THE JUMP!

#Kobe Broke His Nose, along with a Record!

Not only was Kobe breaking records Sunday night, but a CT Scan after the game revealed he broke his nose! Kobe will be seen by a specialist today, to determine how serious the Nasal Fracture is. He hurt his nose after a foul from Dwayne Wade, which drew blood, Bryant got his nose plugged, and finished the game.

Kobe needed 19 points to pass Michael Jordan on the All Time, All Star game scoring list. Kobe finished the game with 27 points, becoming the All Time leading scorer. On his way to the record he also passed Oscar Robertson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Bryant is a 14 time all star, and is tied with KG for most all star appearances.

Dwayne Wade said this about Kobe, "Tonight, he does what he normally does," Wade said of Bryant. "He got 27. He's Kobe Bryant. He scores the ball. He's a tough cover. But it's great being a little piece of history. He's one of the best of all time. We will one day say we had the honor of playing against one of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball."

Andre 3000 Talks Solo Album With GQ

Andre 3000 of hip-hop MEGA-group, Outkast, sat down with GQ Magazine...

Andre 3000: There’s been a lot of talk on the Internet about an OutKast album and I have to say that as of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album. There’s a lot of music on the horizon. I’ve been living off the excitement of new artists. I’ve been privileged to have these new artists kind of reach out and grab back and say, “Hey, Andre, we want you on this song.” So I’ve been taking those calls and for the last two years, I’ve been doing collaborations. So these new artists have kind of been keeping me alive. I’ve just really been feeding off of that and this year I think I’m planning to do a solo project. I don’t know when it will come out, but hopefully it’ll come out this year. As far as OutKast, I really don’t know if or when that will happen.

GQ: What’s the new solo album going to be like?

Andre 3000: The only thing I can really say is I’m going to get back to having fun because that’s what it was all about when I started this in high school—with OutKast—those were like high school dreams. I’m 36 now, so I have grown-man dreams. This album will just be me being myself as normal.

It’s your turn to make your voice heard in helping select this year’s RETOOL YOUR SCHOOL campus improvement grant recipients.

You know how valuable our nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities are, and how much they have contributed to our country’s growth in so many ways. What could be more worthwhile than being part of helping preserve and improve some of America’s most historic campuses and landmarks?

This year, we’ve expanded the program. We are introducing a new $25,000 Campus Pride Grant for the school that shows the most initiative in promoting their proposals and garnering votes. We are also providing an additional $10,000 Tier II Grant. In all, we’ve increased the total grant funds available to $185,000.

Last year, we awarded grants totaling $150,000 to HBCUs. A $50,000 Tier I Grant went to Bethune-Cookman University to help upgrade their Student Center with wheelchair ramps and barrier-free automatic access doors in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ten additional schools received $10,000 each for a variety of projects, from landscaping to lighting to irrigation.

During the first one hundred years of its existence, Lincoln graduated approximately 20 percent of the Black physicians and more than 10 percent of the Black attorneys in the United States. Its alumni have headed over 35 colleges and universities and scores of prominent churches. At least 10 of its alumni have served as United States ambassadors or mission chiefs. Many are federal, state and municipal judges, and several have served as mayors or city managers.

There has been a ton of "coverage" more recently about Allen Iverson and his personal and professional "meltdowns." Unfortunately that is the nature of media. I guess as I compose this post, I serve as a member of the ILLustrious group. We sometimes pry for stories and create stories from the same place we dispose of our feces. It happens everyday. Sue them. Not me. Digression. In the midst of all of these "Allen Iverson is broke, and has to go back to playing JV basketball" reports...I wanted to take sometime out to remind you of the Allen Iverson I remember. The Answer.

It's not everyday you get to witness greatness.

What If Kobe and Shaq Would Have Worked???

As a Lakers fan, the beginning of the new millenium was great! The Lakers won back to back to back NBA Championships behind the duo of Shaq and Kobe. Also with most of my friends being Sixers fans, and to see the duo destroy their beloved Sixers lead by Allen Iverson, is a remarkable memory. The two went on to win 3 NBA Titles, and 4 Finals appearances in a row.

Since then the two split like a highschool couple, full of drama and BullSh*t, Shaq has won 1 title in 1 NBA Finals appearance. Kobe has won 2 titles, in 3 finals appearances. This leads us to wonder what would have happened if the 2 made it work? Would they have 4,5,6 or 7 titles together? One thing is for sure, we would not have the great legacy of Kobe Bryant.

After the split, many people said he would never win without Shaq, INCLUDING Shaq. The ability to prevail through the doubt, and go on to win 2 more NBA Titles. (5 total) He also became the Lakers All-Time scoring leader. Kobe also passed Shaq on the NBA All-Time Scoring list on February 6, in his hometown against the Philadelphia 76ers. Kobe will now go down as one of the best players the NBA has EVER seen. Whether you like him or not, their is no way you can doubt the skill, work ethic, and mental/physical toughness he has shown NBA fans for nearly 2 decades!

So on a personal level for Mr. Bryant, I guess he made the right move by not fighting to keep Shaq in L.A. But damn WHAT IF???
