It saddens Team SCREAM @ ME!!! to have to report this...
Upper Darby Police arrested six high school students at school earlier this morning on charges of kidnapping and assaulting a 14-year-old student.
Seven students who attend the Opportunity Center at the high school kidnapped, beat, and hung a 14-year-old upside down from a tree until he fell face first, Upper Darby police superintendent Michael Chitwood said in a press conference Monday.
Chitwood reported this is the worst case of bullying police have ever seen. "They are lucky they did not kill [the 14-year-old]."
Still searching for the seventh student, police rushed into Upper Darby High and handcuffed and escorted the six students out of the building. Good. Morning.

Chitwood said that surveillance video shows the students hanging the student, as well as a woman walking by as the kid is screaming for help and she did nothing!
“I find it offensive when cops say cops don’t do anything...and not one person called 911," said Chitwood.
All of the students arrested on assault and kidnapping charges are juveniles and will be sent to the Lima Detention Facility, according to Chitwood.
The police report reads the 14-year-old victim did not suffer any serious physical injuries.
