So apparently Jay-Z's visit to Kentucky's locker room AFTER THE WIN, may have been illegal.
Hov must have forgotten this was on his resume: "New Jersey Nets Minority Owner." The rapper presumably has a relationship with Kentucky (and former Nets) coach John Calipari through William "Worldwide Wes" Wesley.
Here's the issue though, NBA team personnel aren't allowed to make ANY contact with college players before they declare for the draft. None. Zero. Zip. Don't even come close. Ken Berger of CBS reports that the NBA will thoroughly investigate the matter and cites a previous case where Celtics GM Danny Ainge sat with Kevin Durant's mother at the Big 12 Tournament back in 2007. Ainge was fined $30,000.
