R&B singer Farrah Franklin plans to take some serious legal action against a California police department. She's made allegations of "manhandling" during her arrest in the early hours of Saturday April 23, 2011.
The former Destiny's Child (star) was taken into custody in Culver City on suspicion of disorderly conduct after cops received a disturbing the peace complaint about Franklin. Who thinks they know what she was doing???
The 29-year-old, who was released on $100 bail, insists she is innocent and has sensationally accused officers of targeting her for her race and mistreating her during her detainment.
She told Tmz.com, "I was manhandled by the arresting officers... There were no female officers on duty and I was required to take off my top and treated unfairly."
And Franklin has now vowed to take her case to court.
In a post on Twitter.com on Monday (25Apr11), she writes, "Yes, I'm okay & Yes there Will be a lawsuit ! F**K da Culver City Police !!!! You cant keep a good girl down."
