From The Vault: Shareefa - "I Need A Boss" & "Cry No More" [Video]

What happened to DTP's own Shareefa?

Better yet, what happened to DTP?

They were on their way to being a movement. Ludacris had assembled his team: I-20, Bobby V, Shawnna, Field Mob, Playaz Circle, Shareefa and Chingy, there were more…but they were ready to trump. Their 2005 collaborative album went GOLD, which was actually pretty good for a group of virtual new comers. Then Chingy went all "I like transvestites." Bobby V went all, "I'm a sex symbol." and Shareefa? Well…I'm not sure what happened here. She was a promising investment. After dropping her debut, Point of No Return on October 24, 2006…it's like we never heard from her again. The album hit #25 on the Billboard 200…but only sold just under 40,000 copies in its first week on shelves. Bad, not horrible, but definitely not good.

Luda, blow the dust off Shareefa and get her back in the studio, she would make DTP relevant again.

Then she dropped this…

UPDATE: Oh, shit…Shareefa said she needed a boss, and guess who was featured on her 2010 "single?" What do y'all think???
