Not with the long awaited, highly-anticipated Cole World: The Sideline Story on the way...I'm not buying it. With MTO as a reference for this story...anything is possible after the jump!
According to reports and strategically placed RATS, rapper J. Cole is being droped from RocNation – at Jay Z’s "insistence."
An "insider" at the labelwho should probably start looking for a new job is reporting, Jay-Z is extremely unhappy with Cole, for what we’re hearing are “personal reasons.”
Dig this though, Jay is allegedly so irrate with Cole, that he was tempted to "put hands on him," and intentionally missed J. Cole’s private album listening session...how crazy does this sound?
Although the reason behind all of the tension is not clear, it may not be a coincidence that it all falls down right around the time Hustler Magazine reported they were sitting on an alleged J. Cole x Rihanna sextape...hmmm...
I'm a fan of Rihanna, but at this point...man...
If Cole has indeed been released from RocNation, we can't expect much promo or anything that even resemebles official tissue. My budget will be larger than his...

I might smell a publicity stunt! I'd like to believe Jay is better than that...but then again, it's 2011. If Baby can buy all of Wayne's albums to push him to a milli in a week, why can't Jay "drop" Cole?
