Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, you are already aware that Don Cornelius has died. While dying is a natural part of life, the content in which he died is truly shocking. Reports have stated that he died from a self inflicted gunshot wound to his head. Why would a 75 yr old man kill himself? Isn’t the act of suicide something that younger people commit not older individuals? At least, that is the mindset I had before today. Mr. Cornelius, who developed, created and owned ‘The Soul Train’ show; was said to have been in failing health. Perhaps this was the deciding factor for ending his life? Maybe, he had the thought of ending his own misery instead of progressing into worse health. Regardless of the reasoning behind the fatal decision, Don Cornelius will be missed. Hope he finds peace.

Don Cornelius Commits Suicide
