It saddens Team SCREAM @ ME to report the unfortunate.
This morning, around 10am Pacific Time former NFL star linebacker, Junior Seau was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound by a housekeeper with a gunshot wound to his chest. Authorities are currently investigating. Police Lt. Karen Laser confirmed the death, and an on-hand law enforcement officer noted "this case is being investigated as a suicide and a handgun was found by the body."
Seau spent parts of 20 seasons in the NFL, including 1990-2002 with his hometown San Diego Chargers, leading them to their only Super Bowl appearance, during the 1994-95 season. Collecting astounding totals: 545 tackles, 56 1/2 sacks and 18 interceptions in his career.
Our prayers are with his family and friends. Stay classy...
