Three full days into the 2012 NBA Playoffs and all SCREAMATME.com could do for you is provide a schedule and bracket?! You have to know us better than that! History is being made on NBA courts across the nation. Get everything you need - to date, AFTER THE JUMP...
Derrick Rose went down with a torn ligament, in turn he will miss the remainder of the playoffs and takes himself out of Olympic consideration. Bulls' fans everywhere are sick, but the Philadelphia 76er's fan inside of me can only be elated at the possibility of getting out of the first round as an eighth seed. LeBron James is flopping his and the Miami Heat's way to the championship...the New York Knicks are sacrificial lambs right now.
Let me see, what else?
Rajon Rondo chest pumped a referee. The Memphis Grizzlies suffered a historical meltdown of epic proportion, Glen "Big Baby" Davis is intense as usual...but this time OFF of the court. Kevin Durant is playing like the 23-year-old MVP candidate he is. #GAMEWINNER. The Denver Nuggets got CRUSHED by Andrew Bynum (10 blocks), Kobe Bryant (31 points), Jordan Hill (10 points, 10 rebounds?!)...yup Jordan Hill (10 points, 10 rebounds!!!!)...and the rest Lakeshow. Tony Parker is an MVP candidate, too. Tim Duncan surprised the shit out of Paul Milsap. And Amare punched a glass fire extinguisher case. All is right with the universe.
In closing...
What I Like About The 2012 NBA Playoffs So Far:
- Kendrick Perkins over Dirk Nowitzki
- The Grizzlies over Lob City
- The Magic's Play
- The Derrick Rose Injury
- Amare Punching The Glass Case
- Rondo Chest Pump
- Zach Randolph's Push Up Segment
What I Don't Like About The 2012 NBA Playoffs So Far:
- Craig Sager's Easter Suit
- The BOS/ATL MatchUp...shit's old.
- Reggie Evans Scoring Game Winning Baskets
- Rudy Gay Missing Game Winning Baskets
- Carmelo "All Jumpshot Everything" Anthony
- Still, The Sixer's Chances
- LeBron "I'm Going To Flop Right Here" James
For the record, I predict OKC Thunder versus MIA Heat for the 2012 NBA Finals matchup. Heat reign supreme, in 6 or 7 games. No, I'm not a Miami Heat fan.
