Dick's Sporting Good's - Every Pitch [Commercial]

I saw this commercial for the first time, just last night while watching the Chicago Bulls snap the Miami Heat's 27-game win streak with some help from the officials. I thought the commercial was phenomenal. The vision of the director is clear and creative, and within a minute it seemed to capture the essence of the sport of baseball. Additionally, the placement and timing are perfect as avid baseball fans look forward to another turbulent MLB season.

This one is a gem, kudos to Dick's Sporting Goods and their marketing department for putting this one together.

#RaineMagazinePost: Fellas, It’s 2013. Get Tied Up.

No, this is NOT a late Happy New Year write up. Nor am I about to express to you how busy you should be with your unattainable resolutions, which I am sure you’ve most likely completely forgotten about by now. My purpose here is to give you this single line of advice: Embrace Your Inner Necktie.

Long gone are the days when it was acceptable to neglect the necktie, and when the inclusion of a necktie with your outfit indicated you could possibly end up overdressed for the occasion. Yup! It’s over for that. The tie is cool now. And although I’m sure Joan Rivers may beg to differ, to be completely honest and frank with you, in today’s fashion world, with a high level of self-confidence, you can pretty much get away with anything. See: Lady Gaga and Russell Brand.

The Truth With Elliott Wilson: Lil Wayne's "I Am Not A Human Being II" [Video]

Is this what happens when you've reached your peak in rap? I remember when I thought Jay-Z reached his peak back in 2006 with the release of Kingdom Come. He had already fake-retired, and the project's roll out was disappointing. However, the best rapper alive, bounced right back the following year, with the release of American Gangster, and I was a believe again.

Shifting our focus to the subject at hand, Lil Wayne, in my opinion has delivered consecutive lackluster projects with Tha Carter IV and now I Am Not A Human Being II. He never disappoints 100%, but once you've delivered at such a high rate over such a long period of time, the expectation for your artistry develops. Fans, critics, close associates and media expect more after each win.

I'm afraid to say, this one may have been a loss.

Lil Wayne's new album "I Am Not A Human Being II" is in stores now, but is it worth picking up? Find out here on #TheTruth and tune in Wednesday 3/27 at 4:00 EST for a live Google Hangout with Elliott.

Meek Mill Tony Story Book

G Street Chronicles, one of the hottest urban publishing companies, and Dream Chasers, Meek Mill's independent record label, have teamed up to bring you the novel, Tony Story by Rap Sensation Meek Mill. This highly anticipated novel will be available in paperback and ebook on May 1st.

Check out the books description below:

Tony and Ty had big dreams of getting rich. Although they grew up like brothers, once money and envy entered the equation, greed took over and loyalty went out the door.
After a deadly shooting, the streets of Philly were in an uproar and the lives of many people revolved around revenge. Gold digger Kee capitalized on the built-up tension; but before she could really enjoy the fruits of her labor, she was thrust into the middle of a street war with the cost being her life.

Trust was not an option and revenge was the only thing anyone had in common. Paulie wanted revenge for his cousin; LB wanted revenge for his brother. They both had blood in their eyes and murder in mind; names were called while gunners lurked in the shadows. It became bigger than the almighty dollar and no one was safe.

Philly won't be the same after you're a witness to Tony Story.
