Billboard.com reports, MTV will be partnering up with Sony/ATV Publishing to create yet another brand, HYPE. Designed to serve as a publishing company for unsigned recording artists.
Here's the catch though...they have to be hot. MTV will filter all interested parties, which essentially means a GREEN LIGHT from MTV. After the go, SONY takes the music from there...introducing the sound to partners, other brands, etc.
