LeBron James ( @KingJames ) Holds Bike Event for Education

Many of us are always on LeBron's case for what he does or does NOT do on the basketball court. Well me being a Lakers fan and a member of Team Kobe sometimes i am one of those analyzing people. But in this situation I will give LeBron his props. Any of my homies can tell you, I give credit when credit is due and this is one of those moments.

LeBron James has always stated that education of the youth was one of his main off-court focuses. Being that he a worldwide superstar; he can use his voice and position as a tool. With that being said, LeBron James hosts an anual Bike-A-Thon in Akron, Ohio. But this time its different, its centered around EDUCATION.

The Bike event is centered around a 2 week camp that has Reading and Technology classes available for 360 kids entering the third grade.

The Bike event is a 2.6 mile ride, where LeBron will ride with 20 selected high school students.

So Big Ups to LeBron for giving back to the community and focusing on Education.

I'm definitely not a Lebron fan on the court but off the courst it appears he's a genuinely good guy. We need more athletes to be visable and serve as role models for the neighborhoods they have left... Big props Lebron
