CEO of Warner Music Group in BIG Trouble

Edgar Bronfman, Jr., current Chief Executive over at Warner Music Group faces 15 months in prison and a fine of $6.7 million for occurring mishaps at Vivendi Universal.

This is all over his previous position at Vivendi Universal. While holding an executive position at Vivendi, The Associated Press reports that Bronfman conveyed "false or misleading information" about the company, along with manipulating stock prices. The verdict was delivered Friday, January 21st in a French court. Bronfman intends to appeal, but it's highly unlikely he'll get off.

“I am disappointed that the court differed with both the Paris public prosecutor and the lead civil claimant in the case, APPAC, who both took the position that I should be acquitted,” Bronfman said in his statement. “As I have consistently stated, my trades were proper.”

At press time, Bronfman faces a suspended 15-month prison sentence, along with $6.7 million in fines. The sentencing is currently in limbo upon further investigation.

This news arrives just as Warner Music Group hired Goldman Sachs to handle a possible sale of Warner Music Group. While Warner is in their sales transition, they may lose their CEO in the process. SmH. I'm going to submit my resume and if I get the job, I'm never posting to S@M.com again! LOL! Kidding...

Nicki Minaj Gets The Boot!

"Hey Nicki, Hey Nicki!" Control your barbs! LoL. Nicki Minaj was kicked out of the Dorchester Hotel after her overly enthused and eager fans proved to be too much to handle.

Following reports that one group of fans wrote graffiti inside on of the luxurious London hotel's lifts, Minaj took to her Twitter page to tell fans she would no longer be staying at the Dorchester.

She tweeted: 'Long day of press only to find out we've officially been kicked out the hotel! Lmaoooooooo. Rescue me barbz!!!! Pleeeeeeeasse *martha voice*

SmH. Does she understand what that tweet means? What happens when her "barbies" hear something like "rescue me." Straight pandemonium.

She wrote: 'U can't have me w/o my barbz! We're a packaged deal!!!!'

Asked by one of her followers later why the hotel had made the decision to kick her out, Minaj replied: 'Cuz the barbz n paps were camping out n they said my barbz r 2 "young".'

She later added: 'And they said yesterday while I was out doing press, a fight broke out and an ambulance was called for 1 of my barbz.'

Can't give her a passport…keep that craziness in the states Miss Minaj.

Newest Washington Wizard

Mustafa Shakur. Remember him? Well, you should. Former Arizona Wildcat, has been "called-up" from The National Basketball Association Developmental League's Tulsa 66ers to the Washington Wizards. With the Wiz currently operating with rookie PG John Wall and veteran G Kirk Hinrich, they looked to add more depth in their guard position. Staf seems to be the perfect fit for the organization.

Shakur, a fourth-year pro, was averaging 18.4 points, 6.0 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.0 steals this month while making 51 percent of his field goal attempts with Tulsa. In his 69 game D-League career, the consistent point guard is averaging 18.4 points, 6.4 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals. His play last season in the D-League earned him an end of season call-up to the Oklahoma City Thunder as well as a training camp invite with the New Orleans Hornets this past preseason.

The moved proved to be for the win…literally…as the Wizards ousted the Celtics, snapping Boston's 5-game win streak. Shakur collected 5 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers, and shot 50% from the field in only 10 minutes of play.

Game Highlights HERE.
